OUAT Recruitment 2024 Notification: The Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT Bhubaneswar) has invited applications through a walk-in interview for the engagement of Analyst (Chemistry). The engagement for the Analyst post will be on a contractual basis.

To recruit an Analyst in Chemistry subject an interview will be conducted by Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT). The walk-in interview date is scheduled to be held on August 20, 2024, at 11.00 am.

OUAT Recruitment 2024 Qualification

Analyst (Chemistry):

• The candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Environmental Science with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University.
• The candidates must have completed a Master’s Degree in Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Environmental Science with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University.

Experience:

• The candidates must have experience in handling spectroscopy and chromatography instruments such as CHNS Analyser, ICP-OES, LCMSMS, HPTLC, GCMSMS, FTIR, UV VIS Spectrophotometer, etc.
• The candidates must have experience in research of 1-2 years in a Research Laboratory or University.

OUAT Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

For the Analyst (Chemistry) post at OUAT, the applicant’s age must be between 21 to 45 years as of August 20, 2024. Age relaxation is exempted for all categories of candidates.

• Minimum age limit: 21 year
• Maximum age limit: 45 year

Selection Process

The selection process for an Analyst in Chemistry subject includes a personal interview and document verification. If the number of applicants is equal to or more than six then a written examination will be conducted.

Place of Posting

The selected applicants for the position of Analyst will be posted at the Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) of OUAT, under the Administrative control of the DEAN, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar.

Job Role

Candidates will have to operate different equipment available at the CIF and analyze the samples received.
