Odisha CT Entrance Exam 2024: The Directorate of Teacher Education & SCERT has invited online applications from eligible candidates for two-year D.El.Ed. course for the academic session 2024-26. The D.El.Ed. course shall be valid for two academic years.

Odisha CT Apply Date 2024
The online application will begin on July 26, 2024. Applications for D.El.Ed. course must be submitted online at the SCERT website from July 26, 2024, to August 15, 2024.
Application Fees
The requisite application fees for D.El.Ed courses are Rs. 500 for General, SEBC, and EWS categories and Rs. 300 for SC, ST, and Female categories. The last date to pay the requisite application fee is August 15, 2024.
Odisha CT Exam Date 2024
The Odisha CT exam date 2024 is scheduled to be held from September 12 to September 15, 2024. The admit card will be available on the SAMS web portal or SCERT web portal from September 5, 2024.
Odisha CT Entrance Exam 2024 Eligibility
The candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary/ +2 examination in Science/ Arts/ Commerce or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/PH candidates) from a recognized Board.
The candidates who have appeared in their final year of the +2 examination in the Science/ Arts/ Commerce stream are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for General candidates is set to 30 years. Similarly for the SC/ST/SEBC/Women candidates, the upper age limit is set to 35 years. Age relaxation is permissible under the rules.

Odisha CT Entrance Selection Process
The method of selection for Odisha D.El.Ed. 2024 involves an Online Computer Based Test (CBT) and document verification.
Odisha CT Entrance Exam Pattern
- The test consists of two sections i.e. Section I and Section II.
- Section I carries 30 marks and Section II carries 60 marks.
- The duration of the CBT test is 90 minutes.
- All the questions shall be of multiple choice type.
- For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks shall be deducted.
